A rather sterile, Pinterest-fake setting. We watched the servers throughout our visit and never saw anyone smile. The food was meh. I did like these trees, though.

The Daily Kitchen & Bar was a great experience. The organic food they serve here is delicious. The lime cilantro sauce was fantastic and made my spicy chicken avocado bowl, also was a good dip for the fried. Overall I will definitely go again to enjoy more of the delicious meals.

Delicious food but pretty darn pricey.âï¸âï¸âï¸ Particularly because of cost & our service wasn’t great. We waited nearly an hour after ordering our food. Something definitely went awry but our waitress never said anything about it. Unfortunately we didn’t either so, maybe that’s our fault. 🤷ðŸ»â€â™€ï¸Unsure if I’ll go back even though it tasted good, just not sure that it’s really worth it for me.If you like “finer things†and spending $$ then def hit this place up! You’ll probably like it better than I did. *Sandwiches are def the best bang for your buck**Banana bread is also surprisingly delicious (my friend ordered it)

Energetic, friendly, social-scene restaurant with an exquisite modern menu for all. Tuna Tower did not disappoint and the Beet & Arugula salad had the perfect drizzle of the balsamic reduction and oil. My main course, the Thai Basil Noodle dish, had a rich curry sauce with a deep set of perfected flavors. Wish I had room for desert!

Hubby brought me brunch @ The Daily. Yum. The restaurant has a trendy vibe, the front of the house is decorated in a cool mix of organic meets clean lines. The food came out hot. Our service was good. The back of the house was running smoothly as it did not take a long time to get our food. My favorite part of the restaurant having enough room to have a private conversation in public.

Food and service is always great here. My only complaint is that the happy hour specials are only available in the bar. This isn't ever mentioned when you are being seated. Drinks are above average expensive if not on happy hour. So 4.5 stars which rounds up to 5.

Great meal with hostess "Elliott". Quick with the food, quick with jokes, only good things to write. Reasonable prices for how the place looks - it looked intimidating but was pleasantly surprised: especially for organic and local ingredients. Food was really good tasting, and the menu had the locations of where the ingredients were sourced. Lots of vegetarian/vegan/gf options. The drinks menu was fun to read, very creative. Tasty. 5/5.

One of our favorite places to eat at when in Richmond. Very well put together menu, so far every item has been top notch. Very attentive and friendly wait staff. Good selection of beers on tap!

This place is quaint and has a variety of options. Called the daily because you can get something here everyday from all types of dishes. I ordered the guacamole, spinach dip, turkey burger and pomegranate​ martini. Everything was fresh and delicious! I can't wait to come back

The ambiance was great but the service was not. The food was fresh and tasty (I recommend the calamari appetizer). The shrimp stir fry bowl was very flavorful and the mandarin orange salad was crisp .

The place has a very nice decoration that gives you the organic impression just like their fresh food. I personally had the cheese burger which tasted really good especially with their fresh fries. The service was top notch. Wait time was around 20mins which is not that much considering the stores nearby that you can visit while waiting for them to call you.

Great food, everyone at our table (8 people) enjoyed what they ordered. We had a great waiter, too. The soup was a bit cold, but I understand it's hard to coordinate 8 meals to be ready at the same time. I'd go back!

This is my third time dining at The Daily. I always sit at the bar. I always get the fried calamari and a drink. Both have been amazing each time. The bartenders are always pleasant and well-informed about the menu, dietary restrictions, and available substitutions. They go out of their way to make me feel welcome and appreciated. That means a lot. That means that they care about their customer's experience.Go here for dinner, lunch or brunch. You'll love it!

This place was surprising good. For it being in the fan it was very spacious. Being vegan they had a ton of options. They list where all of their food was sources from. I will definitely be coming back!

Met the family at The Daily for Sunday Brunch. They were extremely accommodating with our reservation. We had one reservation for 6 and another reservation for 2. When we got there we asked them if they could possibly combine our reservations and seat us all at one table, we even asked them if we could add one more person. They were extremely quick in reacting and put all 9 of us together at one big table. My wife had the teriyaki rice bowl, my daughter had a cheeseburger and I had a turkey club sandwich. We loved all three meals. The menu had a very nice mix of breakfast and lunch choices. Good food, good service. Highly recommend the Daily in Carytown! 😀

Atmosphere is worth a visit, coffee is just OK, went for breakfast and paid $10-$13 for luke warm eggs. Not terrible and I try not to be that guy who complains, but maybe it should be prepared differently if the food is coming out cold? Also serving everything with ketchup is kinda basic for a restaurant who flaunts it's organic and locally sourced ingredients...

I’m averaging and rounding up (between a 5 for food and 2 for the Bloody Mary) because I’ve had wonderful food and drink recommendations, but was left yearning for more with my Bloody Mary... which is pretty important for my near-substance abusing rate of Bloody Mary consumption. “Pickled onions†turned out to be one cocktail onion, the quality didn’t make up for sparse quantity and I spent the latter part of my morning imbibing other beverages and wondering just exactly where I went wrong.

Fresh and tasty food, light and airy interior. Great Lunch spot. The crispy Brussels sprouts appetizer was particularly delightful, I was unable to restrain myself long enough to snap a photo before devouring them! This place makes it easy to eat your veggies.

I appreciate what this place is and what they are trying to do here. The food is tasty in ita own right, but it seems to have this significant lack of seasoning. Its healthy and it fits the diet plan, but this is more of a health choice than a preferred choice.

There are so many veggie options that are delicious. I love the curry lentil bowl, burrito bowl, veggie burger, and their sweet potato fries are AMAZING. I don’t think I’ve ever ordered something bad from the Daily. Sometimes it’s a bit busy but the bar is full service so it’s never too bad!

Great artisonal cocktails and an extensive, delicious menu. All menu items note whether they are gluten free, paleo, vegan or whether you can request that option. So there is literally something delicious for anyone in your group to eat no matter what their dietary issues are. From crunchy chickpeas, vegan or squid calamari (gluten free no less!), to sweet potato fries or crispy Brussels sprouts, the menu has 'normal' and exotic to suit every taste. It is usually busy but I have never had to wait more than 15-20 minutes for a table. Friendly, helpful staff round out the awesomeness of The Daily.

A little late with my review....sorry.I went to the Short Pump location. Just about everything was great. The hostess seemed to have a bit of an attitude but the rest of the experience was great. The wait staff was on par with their recommendations. Nice vibe, not loud at all and it was busy at lunch and dinner. No long wait for a table. Everything I had was delicious and portioned nicely (lentil soup, calamari, and a hug salad (can't remember the name). If you have Celiac like me or are gluten intolerant, check this place out. Lots of gluten free to choose from. I'll be back.

This was a pretty good restaurant with lots of vegetarian options. If you are a vegetarian or vegan, this is probably a great place. I had a turkey burger, which I thought was just so-so. The server was nice. This place is a little pricey though.
